You do hear a lot of music in English in France even though the French are known to give a lot of value to their own language and culture. On the other hand, some of that music is actually French.
Moriarty: Jimmy
Moriartyn jäsenten ranskalaisuus on ehkä vähän kyseenalaista, mutta nimeän nyt mielivaltaisesti orkesterin ranskalaiseksi. Kappale on ilmeisesti vuonna 2007 ilmestyneeltä albumilta "Gee Whiz But This Is a Lonesome Town".
The frenchness of Moriarty is a little questionable but I'll call it French anyway. The song is from the 2007 album "Gee Whiz But This Is a Lonesome Town".
Kavinsky (feat. Lovefoxx): Nightcall
Kavinsky on pariisilainen elektronisen musiikin tekijä, jonka tuotannossa on kaikuja 80-luvulta. Tämä vuoden 2010 kappale on ilmestynyt mm. Drive-elokuvan (jota en ole nähnyt) soundtrackillä ja kuulemma soinut jonkin verran myös Suomessa (vaikka en itse ole kuullut).
Kavinsky is a musician from Paris. He makes electronic music influenced by the sounds of the 80's. This song is from 2010 and it has appeared on the sound track of the movie Drive (which I haven't seen) and I understand that it's been playing a little in Finland as well (even though I haven't heard it there).
